A clearance rate of 81 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 82 per cent last weekend and 74 per cent this weekend last year. There were 1004 auctions reported to the REIV, with 810 selling and 194 being passed in, 86 of those on a vendor bid. Last month was the strongest February on record with more homes going to auction than ever before as well as a record number of homes selling at auction.
